Printed on the backside of vintage tobacco ads (pictured), this piece introduces a new direction in the work.

The original material brings a natural aging that amplifies the signature embellishments, with elements of the ads worked directly into the surface. This is the first piece created using this material.

A restrained, muted color palette — rare within Ludwig’s body of work — gives this piece a distinct presence from previous releases.
